Access LMS Evo March 2026 Release Notes

Written by Alexandra Ridgway
Updated over a week ago

March brings a smarter, more intuitive Finder experience for learners, with deeper search, trending content, and star ratings to help them find what they need faster. Admins on Access LMS² can also now automate repetitive enrolment and rule assignment tasks through our new Automations tool, available as part of the Early Adopter Programme. Under the hood, we've also made meaningful improvements to the reporting engine, so reports run faster and more reliably across the board.

New Features in Production

Find What Matters: A Smarter, Fresher Finder Experience

Finder has had a significant upgrade. Learners now get a cleaner, more intuitive experience with smarter search that works across every level of the content library, from top-level categories right down to subcategories.

Search also now looks at content descriptions as well as titles, so results are more accurate and relevant. On top of that, trending searches surface the three most popular search terms over the last seven days, giving learners a nudge towards what colleagues are engaging with.

And for content that has at least three ratings, an average star score now appears on the content card, helping learners choose with confidence.

Trending searches surface the three most popular search terms over a rolling seven day period.

In case you missed it: our Early Adopter Programme

Our Early Adopter Programme is now open for Access LMS² customers as part of our Learning Labs initiative. Head to the Early Adopter Programme tile in Global Settings to join, where you can control whether Superadmins only, or all Admins, can toggle Beta features on or off within your LMS. Being part of our EAP will allow you to test new functionality before anyone else, provide feedback, and help shape the future of the LMS. You'll see new features marked with "Beta" labels, giving you time to prepare your organisation before general release.

Access LMS Hub customers - this will be available to you as soon as we have Beta features ready for your platform.

Available for: Access LMS², Admins or Superadmins only
Release date: 23rd February 2026

Automations

Say goodbye to repetitive admin work. Automations give Superadmins the power to set up rules that run in the background on a schedule. Using pre-built templates, you can automate some of your most time consuming tasks in just a few clicks:

  • Bulk Enrolment — Enrol multiple person categories onto multiple courses at once

  • Rule Assignment — Allocate learning rules across multiple courses instantly

  • New Starter Enrolment — Automatically enrol new starters onto the courses they need from day one

By removing manual labour from your day-to-day, Automations reduce the risk of errors, improve communication with learners, and create a more intuitive experience for everyone. Head to Tools > Automations to get started, and see here for an additional FAQ article.

Reporting Infrastructure Improvements

These changes affect all report types, including standard reports, custom SQL reports, and scheduled FTP exports. No changes have been made to how reports are configured or used — everything works exactly as before, just more efficiently.
