Can I lock automations to prevent others from editing them? | Yes, you can lock automations to prevent others from editing them. However, all administrators with the appropriate permissions can still toggle locked automations on or off. This ensures they can be paused if required. |
Can I track changes made to automations? | Last Edited By tracks various changes made to an automation, not just updates made via the edit function. Actions such as renaming the automation, turning it on or off, or locking it also count as edits.
The system records who and when performed an action and displays this information in Last Edited By so you can see who made the most recent change. |
Where do automation rules and emails come from? | Automation rules and emails come from Template Hub. What you see in Template Hub determines what you can select when creating an automation.
For email templates, only the subject line and body content are used in the automation. The recurrence settings and rules from the original template are not applied. |
Do automations capture users from other organisations?

What happens to emails and rules when I turn off or delete an automation?
| When you add emails or rules to content through an automation, they appear in the content's Emails and Rules tabs. If you turn off or delete the automation, these emails and rules are automatically removed from the content. However, users who were added to the content through the automation remain assigned and must be removed manually if required. |
