Here's a look at what's new across Access LMS Hub and Access LMS² this month. We've been focused on giving admins more control over how content is discovered and organised, alongside continued improvements to the events experience and a more consistent look and feel across the platform.
New Features in Production
Finder Faces for Org Units
You can now create Finder Faces at the org unit level, not just for your whole organisation. This means learners in different locations or divisions can each see a Finder experience tailored to them, without manually stripping content from libraries.
What this means for you:
Tailored discovery by location or division (e.g. Hong Kong vs London, front of house vs back office)
Keep each org unit aligned to its own compliance requirements
A Face can be linked to either an organisation or an org unit. If an org unit has its own Face, learners there see it; if not, they fall back to the org-level Face.

Events Manager: Dashboard
The first part of our redesigned Events Manager is now available in Beta for Early Adopter Programme customers.
Previously, admins were managing events across four separate tabs, adding unnecessary steps to a routine task. The new Events Manager brings everything into a single dashboard, replacing the old four-tab experience.
For now, links through to individual event details will take you to the current UI while the remaining areas are in development. As each part is completed and released to Beta, the new UI will progressively replace the old one.
Event Programmes are now Event Series: As part of the ongoing Events Manager update, Event Programmes have been renamed Event Series. This is a name change only. Your existing programmes, and everything you do with them, stay exactly as they were, just under a clearer name.
We're also expanding the types of event you can run. Alongside standalone events and event series, we're introducing Hybrid events and Multi-session events, giving you more flexibility in how you set up and deliver training. More detail will follow as each becomes available.
What's coming as part of this wider release:
A redesigned four-step event creation wizard
Two new event types:
Hybrid events (mixed in-person and virtual attendees)
Multi-session events, where one event contains multiple sessions taking place across different days. Think of an induction with three sessions: health and safety on day one, compliance on day two, and a systems walkthrough on day three.
Available for: Access LMS Hub and Access LMS², as part of our Early Adopter Programme

Events Manager: All Events Page and Manage Locations
The Events Manager Beta continues to grow. This update brings two more areas of the experience into the new UI.
All Events Page
The old Event List tab has been rebuilt as a dedicated All Events page, accessible via "View All" on the Events Manager Dashboard. Alongside the familiar ability to view and navigate to your events, you can now filter by status with live counts, search across event name, location, and instructor, sort by any column, and page through large event sets more easily.
📌 Note: the equivalent page for Event Series is on its way as part of the same incremental rollout.
Manage Locations
Managing your event locations has moved into the new UI. Accessible via More Actions on the dashboard, everything works as before: add, edit, and delete venues, and control whether event creation is restricted to approved locations only. It's the same functionality, just in a cleaner, more consistent home.

Improvements
Appearance Settings: Theming Options Removed
The Access Genesis, Daybreak, and Tranquil theme options have been removed from the Appearance settings page. All admin pages now display in the Evo design system style, giving you a consistent experience across the platform.

Feature Perfect Fixes
Learners Unable to Amend CPD Activity Dates
Fixed an issue in the CPD UI where learners could not edit the date of an offline CPD activity after adding it to their log, even when the activity allowed self-set completion status. Learners can now amend these dates from their own CPD log, in line with previous behaviour.
Available for: Access LMS Hub and Access LMS²
Release date: 8th June 2026
Organisation Creation API Returning 403 Forbidden
Fixed an issue where API requests to create organisations were incorrectly returning a 403 Forbidden response despite valid authentication. Organisation creation via the API now completes successfully for integrations using Application Keys.
Available for: Access LMS Hub and Access LMS²
Release date: 30th June 2026
📌 Note: Releases are rolled out gradually over a two-week period. Some users may receive updates earlier than others.
