This month brings new collaboration features and enhanced personalisation options to Access LMS Hub and Access LMS2. Key highlights include the new Share Content feature for peer-to-peer learning recommendations, expanded Finder editor visibility controls for targeted content delivery, and several fixes improving content visibility and event display in Finder.
New Features
Share Content – Empower Peer-to-Peer Learning
We're excited to launch Share Content, making it easy for learners to recommend training to their colleagues.
Previously, if a learner completed a brilliant course and wanted to recommend it to a colleague, they had to describe it and hope the colleague could find it, or email L&D to request manual registration. This created friction and slowed down those spontaneous learning moments.
Now, learners can click the Share button on any content page (courses, assessments, programmes, offline activities, events), search for colleagues by name, and send them a direct link. Recipients get an automatic email notification with one-click access to the content. There's also a 'Copy link' option for sharing via Teams, Slack, or email.
Important: The system automatically checks permissions, so recipients only see content they already have access to. If they don't have permission, they get a clear message directing them to contact their administrator.
This feature encourages peer-to-peer learning and reduces admin workload from manual assignment requests.

Expanded Finder editor category visibility restrictions
Admins can now restrict Finder editor categories to Person Categories and individual users, in addition to the existing Teams option. A combination of all three can be used together to deliver a more personalised experience for learners. This enhancement unlocks exciting strategic use cases by enabling Admins to create targeted campaigns for specific groups, such as onboarding for new hires, upskilling for specific cohorts, or content categories for specific company locations.
Please note: Finder editor visibility settings control whether a category appears in Finder for specific audiences, not whether users have permission to access the content itself. Admins should ensure that their chosen audience has the appropriate permissions to access content within a Finder category, otherwise some learners may not see all items within it.

In case you missed it...
CPD Experience Transformation
The CPD page has been completely redesigned to improve navigation and streamline the layout. The new purple banner displays comprehensive status information at a glance, including progress, incomplete items, deadlines and category targets. Visual progress bars replace the traditional donut chart, and intelligent content sections guide learners through what needs their attention first.
We've also introduced a new weekly CPD streak feature to help learners build consistent professional development habits.
All familiar CPD functionality remains available. Learners can still add CPD activities, view their CPD log, filter by type and category, and export records. The new interface simply makes these features easier to find and nicer to use. All existing CPD data transfers seamlessly to the new interface.
Please note: This release has now been rolled out to customers using the following features:

Feature Perfect Fixes
Content Visibility in Finder Fixed
Fixed an issue where some users could not see content they had permission to view in Finder, despite the content being accessible via homepage launch options. Switching to 'All Content' view would cause the page to timeout before loading. Content now displays correctly in Finder for all users with appropriate permissions.
Available for: Access LMS Hub and Access LMS2
Release date: 6th Jan 2026
Event Cost Display Fixed
Fixed an issue where the price for paid events in Finder was displaying incorrectly, with the cost text wrapping across multiple lines. In some cases, the price was pushed out of view entirely when the bookmark button was visible. Event pricing now displays correctly on a single line and remains visible alongside other elements.
Available for: Access LMS Hub and Access LMS2
Release date: 7th Jan 2026
Video Activity Completion Threshold Fixed
Fixed an issue where some users were able to complete video activities without watching the required 80% of the content. Video activities now correctly enforce the completion threshold before marking the activity as complete.
Available for: Access LMS Hub and Access LMS2
Release date: 15 Jan 2026
CPD Cap Bulk Selection Fixed
Fixed an issue where applying a CPD cap to multiple users at once did not take effect. Administrators can now successfully apply CPD caps to multiple users simultaneously, rather than needing to update each user individually.
Available for: Access LMS Hub and Access LMS2
Release date: 23rd January 2026
📌Note: Releases are rolled out gradually over a 2-week period. Some users may receive updates earlier than others.
