Edit users completion status

How to exempt, reset or cancel registered training for users.

Administrators can change the completion status of a user's learning if needed, for example, if they’ve already completed the learning outside of Access LMS Evo. Line managers can also edit training for users within their reporting scope.

There are three available options from the actions menu, detailed in the below table.

Status

Function

Reset Status

Sets the status to not attempted.

Cancel

Cancels registration. You’ll need to enter a cancellation reason.

Set exemption

Equivalent to setting as complete.

🤓 Tip: We recommend adding an exemption note for record keeping purposes.

⚠️ Important: Marking users as exempt means they won’t automatically receive the capped or recommended CPD. If they’re on a time spent scheme, they might still get CPD for any time spent completing the learning before the exemption was applied.

To edit users completion status, follow the below steps.

  1. Click Content then click All Content.

  2. Click Find, then search for the relevant content.

  3. Click Common Tasks, then click Users and Rules.

  4. Search for and select the relevant users.

  5. Click Actions, then select the relevant status.

  6. Click Save.
