Create a custom report

Guidance on how to create a bespoke report for your needs.

In addition to the available default reports, administrators and reporting administrators can create custom reports to find the data they need.

To do this, please watch this video or follow the steps below.

  1. Click Reporting then click Report Builder.

  2. Select a data source, then click Next.

  3. Select the parameters for your report, then click Next.

  4. Select the data fields to appear in the report, then click Next.

  5. Add filters and sort fields as required, then click Next.

  6. Enter report name and description.

  7. Select whether to run now or add scheduled email.

  8. Click Finish.


Data sources for custom reports

Data sources form the basis of the report to dictate what is being reported on and affect which parameters are available in the next step when creating a report.

Every time a registered user has attempted an activity.

Activity Progress

Activity progress status for registered users.

Activity Registration Status

Registration status by activity.

Assessment Attempt

Every time a registered user has attempted an assessment including question details and pass mark.

Course Module

Pathway progress status for registered users including child activities.

CPD Adjustments

Adjustments made to users' CPD requirements.

CPD Period Totals

Users' CPD logs including by category.

Event registrations

Event details and progress status for registered users.

File import

Success status of data imports.

File Import Log Item

File Import Log Item details.

Form Registrations

Form progress status for registered users including linked forms.

Form Status

Where forms are within the workflow.

Forms Content

Form fields within a specific template including historic versions.

Person Category Document

This report shows users who have documents attached to a Person Category.

Person Document

Users' profile documents.

Qualifications

Qualification details for assigned users.

Survey Assessment Attempt

Every time a registered user has responded to a Survey including question details and pass mark.

User Data

User profile data such as employment details.
