Monitoring CPD is often essential for ensuring compliance with industry regulations. For example, organisations subject to the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) must complete 15 hours of CPD annually, specifically focused on insurance-related content.
Administrators and reporting administrators can support this requirement by creating reports that track the total CPD hours completed by users across the site. These reports provide clear visibility into compliance status and support effective oversight.
To do this follow the below steps.
Switch to admin view.
Click Reporting, then select Report Builder.
Select Activity Progress data source then click Next.
Select all Activity Types except Pathway and Event Programme, then click Next.
Click Add next to the following fields.
Full name.
CPD Scheme Name.
Activity CPD Hours.
After adding Activity CPD Hours, click it under Report Fields then click the pencil icon.
Select Sum, then click Save.
Click Next.
Click Add Filter then, using the corresponding menus and text fields, add the filters detailed in the table.
Click Next.
Name the report, enter description, then click Finish to run the report.
