The ambition feature is essentially a goal or outcome that an administrator wants to achieve for their organisation.

The chosen ambition displays operational data on the admin homepage that relates to what's happening in your organisation, plus recommended actions to take, designed to inspire you to achieve your chosen organisation-level goal or outcome.

📌 Note: Only Super administrators and administrators have the appropriate permissions to use the ambitions feature.

Ambitions comprise of several elements to make up part of the admin homepage.

  • A Greeting (e.g. Hello, Sunshine!)

  • Key message relating to your chosen ambition (e.g. Let's drive engagement up)

  • A key metric situated in the top right-hand corner of your homepage (left of the Daily Essentials Panel)

  • A set of recommended actions that you can take to help you achieve your goal.

  • KPI cards so that you can monitor key metrics within your organisation that relate to your organisation's goal

  • A set of inspiration cards to create an LMS experience that encourages learners to engage further with their learning

Select an ambition

Currently, the default ambition for all sites is the compliance ambition, which dictates the above details on the admin homepage. Alternatively, the engagement ambition is also available.

In time further choices will be added, which can be selected by admins to change the details relating to the chosen ambition.

Administrators can change the default ambition displayed on the admin homepage.

To do this watch the video or follow the below steps.

  1. Click Engagement then click Ambitions.

  2. Select the relevant ambition, then click Save.

Logic calculation

The two currently available ambitions are Compliance and Engagement.

The data shown on your homepage is calculated using logic specific to your organisation’s compliance configuration, detailed in the tables on the respective pages.
