Course assessments provide a structured way to evaluate understanding of the modules within a course. This approach ensures that learning is reinforced and verified before completion. It is especially useful for compliance training, professional development, or certification-based programmes where proof of knowledge is required.
For example, in a data protection course, an assessment can be added at the end to confirm learners understand GDPR principles before issuing a certificate.
A course assessment is created using the modules already included in the course. It is added as the final module and remains locked until all preceding modules are completed.
Questions are pulled from a question bank and linked directly to the course modules. This dynamic setup ensures the assessment always reflects the most current content, minimising the need for manual updates when modules or question banks change.
