Administrators can copy existing courses. These can be custom courses or Access content.
When copying Access content, it's not possible to directly amend modules, but Administrators can perform the following actions.
Add and remove modules.
Change the pass mark on copied assessments not available on linked assessments).
Change module settings.
Any updates made to Access content within the course is applied to content within the copied course, with the exception being if a module is removed then replaced with a new version. In this scenario, the course needs to be updated to reflect the changes.
To copy a course follow the steps below.
Switch to admin view.
Click Content then click All Content.
Search for and select the course, then click Common Tasks.
Click the Details tab, then click Copy.
Name the copy of the course to distinguish it from the original.
Select from the radio button options how to create the copied course.
Click Create Copy.
