There may be times where a specific module within a course isn't relevant anymore and it's no longer required for users to complete as part of that training.
Administrators can archive selected modules from the course, removing it from the training for registered users.
To do this, please follow the below steps.
📌 Note: After archiving the module won't appear for any newly registered users, but users already registered to the course will need progress to be reset for the archived modules to be removed from their training plan.
Click Content, then click All Content.
Search for the relevant content, then click Common Tasks.
Click Modules, then select the relevant module/s.
Click Actions, then click Archive.
Click Confirm.
⚠️ Important: The module is only archived within the relevant course.
The module will still show as active in content manager and Finder (if published). To use the module outside of the course instead, you'll need to register users to it directly from these areas. Alternatively, if it's no longer required at all, you can archive individual modules outside of courses.
