Archive or restore a module

Guidance on how to remove modules no longer required.

Administrators can archive selected modules from the course, removing it from view for users. This can be useful as there may be times where a specific module isn't needed or it's no longer required for users to complete.

To do this, follow the below steps.

  1. Click Content, then click All Content.

  2. Click Find, then search for and select the relevant module.

  3. Click Details, then click Archive.

  4. Click Confirm.


Restore a module

Administrators can restore archived modules as needed.

To do this, follow the below steps.

  1. Click Content, then click All Content.

  2. Click Find, then search for and select the relevant module.

  3. Click Details, then click Restore.

  4. Click Confirm.
