Feed is a powerful engagement tool designed to enhance the learning experience by providing timely notifications about key learning activities. It enables learners to stay on top of their most important actionable tasks while reducing administrative overhead for managers and admins by automating reminders.

Watch the below video or refer to the relevant section below to learn more about the features and benefits of Feed.

Automated learning notifications

Feed notifications are triggered when administrator or managers assign content with a due date to a user.

Reminders send on the following schedule.

  • 30 days before the due date

  • 7 days before the due date

  • 1 day before the due date

  • Due today

  • Overdue

Notification management

Each piece of content shows only one active notification at a time. When a new reminder triggers, it replaces any existing notification for that content.

Once the user completes the content, the notification is removed from the Feed. If the content stays overdue, the notification automatically removes after 30 days.

Notifications only cover top-level modules. If a user is assigned a course, they receive one notification for the whole course, not separate ones for each module within it.

Exclusions

Feed doesn't generate notifications for self-registrations or registrations related to the following types of content.

  • Events

  • Event Programmes

  • Surveys

  • Survey Assessments

  • Forms

  • Gamebrain activities
