The check in tab assists line managers and team leaders to efficiently monitor their direct reports and teams, providing insights into compliance, learning progress, and overall performance.
To access the check in tab click Check In on the navigation bar when on the learner homepage. Inside the check in tab, you can access the following areas.
Monitor users progression via the Team Dashboard.
Manage user's learning and action changes via My Team Activity.
Approve user's registrations to courses via the Approvals page.
Access the reporting suite via Reports.
📌 Note: My Actions only applies to Line Managers with direct reports.

Click the menu at the top right of the page to select your team. The below table details what each respective system role can view here.

Your team’s Compliance
An overview of your selected team's compliance based on either certificate expiry or due dates, depending on how your organisations mandatory training has been configured.
📌 Note: If mandatory training hasn't been set up by your organisation, this section won’t be visible.
This section also includes the following information.
The number of learners in your team.
Overall compliance status for your team.
A colour coded compliance dial based on the average compliance of all individual learners.
Summary cards highlight overdue and upcoming learning tasks for individual learners.
📌 Note: You will not see a summary card for yourself.
See their Programme journey unfold
This section provides an overview of your team's CPD hours completed each month. Click view to access the Team Dashboard for a detailed breakdown. If CPD hasn't been set up by your organisation, this section won’t be visible.
This month’s milestones
Track your teams engagement trends by comparing this month’s activity to the previous month.
Where they shine brightest
See the three types of content, such as videos and course, your team has interacted with the most this month.
Learning, their way
See the three learning categories your team has engaged with the most this month.
How your team is learning and growing
View your team's learning habits for the current month, this including the below details.
Individual learner’s total time spent on learning.
The top category they've engaged with.
Their preferred learning styles.
Type the first 3 letters of a learners name to narrow down your search for individuals.
Logic calculations
The check in tab provides key insights into compliance, learning, and overall performance through statistics. These figures are calculated using logic specific to your organisation’s compliance configuration. All statistics (excluding your team compliance) are generated monthly.
Understanding your team's compliance
Your team’s compliance statistics are determined using the below outline.
Compliance data is updated overnight.
Only mandatory training contributes to compliance. If learning is tracked by expiry or due date, that information must be included within the course settings.
Only courses count toward compliance, not individual modules.
Grace periods are not factored into the compliance calculations.
The overall compliance score reflects the average compliance level of all individual learners.
Your teams compliance score calculation
The way mandatory training is configured in your site determines your team’s compliance score. The table below provides further details.

Approve user registrations
Line managers and team leaders can see and action approvals on the Approvals page via the check in tab.
As a line manager, if someone in your team requires approval by a team leader, you can see the details but not action the request and visa versa.
📌 Note: For team leaders to have the ability to action approvals, they'll need to be given the relevant permission to do so.
To view and approve a request, follow the below steps.
From the learner homepage, click Check In on the navigation bar.
Click To Action, then select Approvals.
Click the Registration status drop-down menu then select Pending Approval.
Click View to see details of the activity that the user has been registered to.
Select relevant users, then click Approve or Reject as needed.
Click Confirm.
