| Eye injuries are one of the most common — and most preventable — workplace injuries in the UK. This course gives employees the practical knowledge they need to protect themselves and others. Learners will identify the eye hazards most likely to arise in their work environment, understand which type of eye protection to use and how to wear and care for it correctly, and know exactly what to do if an eye injury occurs — including chemical splash, foreign objects, and impact injuries. First aid guidance is grounded in HSE best practice and covers when and how to contact the nominated first aider, the correct use of eyewash stations, and why prompt medical attention matters even when symptoms appear minor. |
📌Note: For LMS and Partners/ContentServe, minor updates are automatic, and for Safety Media, once you have completed it, the next launch will show the updated version.
Do I need to do anything with updated content?
LMS | The currently active course has been updated to include the new modules and removed the older ones. To see the changes, you will need to reset users either manually or via registration rules. |
SafetyMedia | If you are already on the older course, once you have completed it, the next launch will show the updated version. |
Partners/ContentServe | If you are already on the older course, once you have completed it and are reset, you will see the newest version.
