Overview

Subject matter experts continue to review our courses on a periodic cycle and, whilst implementing their feedback, the team ensure the latest quality and consistency guidance is applied. Find out more about phasing out inbuilt voiceover.

We've decided to bring a new design to the downloadable Course Resources PDF that we provide with our courses. The new design is balanced with visual elements, allowing for a better alignment between text and graphics. The new design follows a more subtle colour palette and ensures accessibility with the appropriate font format and page layout. Additionally, we are providing a short description along each hyperlink. The new design focuses on accessibility and blends both text and graphic elements better.

The new design will help you:

  • Recognise the hyperlink's purpose.

  • Explore the hyperlinks based on your interests with reduced click fatigue.

  • Associate the description of each hyperlink with your knowledge gaps.

  • Avoid cognitive overload and only retain information that is relevant to you.

Released in March

Safeguarding & Protection of Adults

Replaced in situ, this is a completely new, story driven, course where you step into a fictional multi-disciplinary care agency. As you shadow colleagues, you’ll tackle safeguarding concerns and decide the best actions to support individuals in need. See our safeguarding and protection of adults pdf for more details. We’ve had this mapped by a qualified assessor against the CSTF, see pages 16, 17 and 18.
