Specific SM&CR training provided during Access LMS² implementation?

Can an Access LMS² site be tailored to the different financial services business types?

Yes. Dual regulated firms (PRA & FCA) banks, (this is further refined into UK and foreign banks) building societies, designated investment firms, insurance firms and credit unions.

Solo regulated firms (FCA) - core and enhanced.

This selection is made in the Responsibilities Map.

Do Access LMS² sites enable the Statement of Responsibility to be recorded and signed off by the relevant Senior Management Functions (SMFs)?

Yes, Prescribed Responsibilities (PR) can be added and edited as needed. Statements of Responsibility are then captured against individual PRs.

Can you add clarification points to SMFs and Responsibilities?

Yes, you can add descriptions to every SMF and Responsibility within the Responsibilities Map.

Can someone decline the invitation to accept an SMF or Responsibility?

Yes, users can record acceptance or rejection of each SMF/Responsibility that is assigned to them. This is captured in the Responsibilities Map and can be reported on.

Can you add additional information such as job description to an individual’s record?

Yes you can add a pdf. document to a person category such as a specific certified function / responsibility. This will be viewable in the user’s profile along with a version history.

Does Access LMS² have a competency assessment function?

Our Form templates can be used to capture and manage the competency assessment process.

Firms can upload competency assessment documentation to user profiles for record keeping

Can I build a full responsibilities map on Access LMS²?

Yes, you can add roles, Senior Management Functions (SMFs) and their Prescribed Responsibilities (aligned to firm type). Organisational structure can be edited to reflect SMR reporting lines. This is done within the Responsibilities Map feature.

You can then export the map to PDF or Word so additional governance information can be added

Does Access LMS² have a Fitness & Propriety assessment function?

Yes, use Forms to create a Fitness & Propriety assessment template and workflow appropriate to your organisation. Forms do not carry out offline checks such as DBS checks but allow you to complete annual attestations.

Dates of successful offline checks such as DBS checks can be fed into the user’s profile either manually or via a data feed. This can then be pulled into the Fit & Proper template.

Do CPD records feed into the tool e.g. for Fitness & Propriety assessments for Certified staff?

Yes, CPD is a key feature of Access LMS Evo.

Capture CPD on the system and pull this information through to Fitness & Propriety assessments.

Bespoke CPD schemes allow for a minimum number of CPD hours to be set, which must be achieved as part of certification.

Can certificates be issued?

Yes, certificates can be created against specific modules (I.e. a Fitness & Propriety assessment) and awarded to the certified individual once full fitness and propriety has been achieved.

Certificates can be set to expire after a certain number of months/years or on a specific date, allowing easy management of the annual certification process.

Can Access LMS² issue email reminders to alert certified individuals that their certification is due for renewal?

Yes, email reminders can be created against Fitness & Propriety assessments.

The Certification Regime Monitor Workspace App gives Administrators oversight of Fitness & Propriety certification status across the organisation.

Does Access LMS² provide a handover document?

Firms can upload handover documentation to user profiles and Fit & Proper assessment can assist with checking and self-attestation.

Can you document Reasonable Steps?

Reasonable Steps evidence can be uploaded to user profiles.

How does Access LMS² support the Conduct Rules aspect of SM&CR?

Roll out our Conduct Rules eLearning to staff and then track completion rates with reports.

Forms can be used to log and track Conduct Rules breaches and investigation outcomes with over 40 case studies to help you meet the role-related training requirement from the FCA.

What SM&CR related reports are available on Access LMS²?

Create reports from multiple data sources to view data relating to training completion (including Fitness & Propriety assessments and any mandatory compliance training), acceptance of responsibilities, certificate expiry dates, CPD completion rates.
