As an administrator, trainer, or content creator, you can create events on any site with the Events feature. Use events to organise multiple training sessions with the same content, so participants only need to attend once.
Once you create an event, it’s added to the event calendar and list, where other trainers, line managers, and administrators in your organisation can view it. Users won’t be able to search for or register until you publish the event.
Event programmes link together multiple events to create an overarching programme of events, similar to a course.
📌 Note: A link must be created to the respective platform to host a virtual meeting via Zoom or Microsoft Teams when creating an event.
To create an event, watch the video or follow the below steps.
Switch to admin view
Click Content, then select All Content.
Click Events, then click New Event.
Enter a title for the event.
Enter the event code to link it with matching event programmes.
Select relevant event type, then enter details about the event.
Click Next, then set a start time for the event.
Set recommended CPD hours and location for the event, then click Next.
Set the deadline for event registrations.
Set the last date attendees can cancel.
Choose if a line manager receives an approval request when a user registers.
Select Enable registration to allow users to self-register to the event.
Select Self cancellation enabled to let users cancel their own event attendance.
Set the maximum number of attendees.
Set the minimum number of attendees.
Set the maximum number for the waiting list. Set as zero to have no waiting list.
Click Next, then click Finish.
