To learn more about populating a question bank template, watch this video or follow the below guidance.

The downloaded question bank template will be pre-populated with headings. Do not delete these headings as Access LMS Evo reads these when the question bank is uploaded.

Each question must appear in it's own row without spaces (empty rows) in between. The below table provides guidance on how to populate fields.

Mandatory or optional

Notes

ExternalId

Mandatory

All questions must have unique ID within the Question Bank. For example: Q001, Q002 or DD001, DD002 etc.

ActivityCodes

Optional

Link the question to a module by pasting the relevant module code. For example, linking a question to an eCreator course you have created.

Copy the code from the eCreator's administration area then paste it into the Module Codes column. If a code hasn't been assigned to the course, you can add one at this point.

You can leave this field blank if preferred.

  • FreeFormText (no spaces). An open question which allows for a comment style answer.

  • Range. A rating style question which invites the user to select a number along a scale. The minimum (min) and maximum (max) number are specified in the template along with the increment (step) the slider increases or decreases when moved.
