We’ve been continuing with our subject matter expert reviews, ensuring the content remains compliant. The updates account for the latest regulatory and legislative requirements, meaning you can be confident the content we’re providing is relevant, accurate and afford your staff flexibility to learn how best works for them, be that desktop, tablet or mobile.

COSHH

This course went through a maintenance review by our subject expert, and we’ve done graphics updates throughout the course.

Content updates include:

  • Clarification on decanting.

  • Added reference to handwashing after doffing PPE.

  • More examples of other times to wear PPE in the setting.

  • Updated substances hazardous to health to be more relevant to the setting.


Legionella awareness

This course went through a maintenance review by our subject expert, as well as a graphics update.


Sharps awareness

This course when through a graphics update and a maintenance review by our subject expert, with minor changes to content:

  • Additional examples of sharps.

  • Highlighting the regulations require sharps disposal containers near the expected use of sharps.

  • Information on employer responsibilities when a sharps injury occurs.


Urinary Incontinence Types & causes

The review by a subject expert found all content is up to date and correct. We’ve updated the course style and graphics.


Bed Rails

The review by a subject expert found all content is up to date and correct. We've updated the course style and graphics.


Checks outside of their normal cadence of updates

We’ve also checked for these specific amends out of their usual cadence of updates:

  • Diabetes: Changed reference from 4-8 mmol/L to 4-7 mmol/L.

  • Pressure Ulcer Risk Assessment: Updated the Pressure Ulcer Categories lesson with more definition on the difference pressure ulcer categories, unstageable pressure ulcers and deep tissue injuries.
