The CPD digest email delivers personalised updates to users, highlighting progress on continuing professional development. Each update includes key information such as visual progress indicators and direct links to learning activities.
This feature is configured by administrators at site level and operates independently from user-managed monthly CPD updates. Users with both enabled will receive duplicate notifications. To reduce inbox clutter, it is recommended that administrators advise users to disable individual monthly updates when the CPD digest email is in use.
To configure the CPD Digest Email, watch the video or follow the steps below.
Switch to admin view.
Click Tools, then click Notifications.
Click Send a CPD digest email with global settings tile.
Toggle on Send a CPD Digest email to users.
Click the Design tab, review email appearance.
Click the Details tab to view how the subject line will appear.
Click the Audience tab. Apply filters by clicking on a tile and selecting appropriate options. Click Save to apply any changes.
Click the Recurrence tab.
Select how often the email will be sent.
Use the menus to select a date to start sending the update from.
Click Save to apply any changes.
Click the Publish tab.
Test how the email will look by clicking Send Test Email.
Select Publish (go live with chosen recurrence), then click Save.
