Add or manage your CPD records

Guidance on how to add new or manage existing CPD records.

Written by Jordan Stokes

Users can add and manage their CPD records directly from their learner homepage or via the My CPD page. Both routes give quick access to adding new entries, updating reflections, and keeping CPD progress accurate and up to date.

For more information, watch the video or follow the relevant steps below.

Add a CPD entry

Adding CPD entries maintains an accurate record of professional development. Each entry contributes to overall CPD progress and ensures learning receives proper recognition for compliance and reporting.

Add a CPD entry from the learner homepage

Use the Add CPD button in the Your Enrolled Programmes belt, then follow the steps to add a CPD entry.

Add a CPD entry from My CPD

Follow the steps below to add a new CPD entry from the My CPD page.

  1. From the learner homepage, click Your initials, then select My CPD.

  2. Click Add, then enter a Name, Date and Time Spent on the activity.

    • You can select an Activity Type and upload supporting documents.

  3. Add the reflective statement.

    • You can also add Development Needs and Learning Outcomes statements.

  4. Click Save.

Add a reflection to a CPD record

Reflections show what you learned and how it applies to your development. Completing them ensures your CPD record meets scheme requirements.

📌 Note: Missing reflections may result in training not counting toward CPD requirements, potentially impacting overall progress and compliance status.

Reflections can be viewed and added to content with outstanding requirements directly from the My CPD page. You can also use the structured prompts and examples to help complete the reflection.

To complete a reflection, follow the below steps.

  1. From the My CPD page, find the My Reflections belt.

  2. Select a relevant activity that has an outstanding reflection.

  3. Hover over the activity tile and select Add Reflection.

  4. Enter the reflection in the Reflective Statement text box.

  5. Click Add.

Manage your CPD log

The CPD log provides a central location to view, organise, and manage all CPD entries. It streamlines record keeping through filters, bulk actions, and export options.

Specific CPD entries can be located, grouped by type or date, and exported as a complete record when needed.

To access the CPD log, follow the steps below.

🤓 Tip: You can also access the CPD log directly from the Your Enrolled Programmes belt on your learner homepage.

  1. From the My CPD page, click More Actions.

  2. Click View CPD log.

  3. Use the year dropdown menu to change the CPD data range.

  4. Apply filters to search for specific CPD entries.

Remove a CPD entry

You can remove CPD entries that were added by mistake or are no longer needed.

⚠️Important: Permanently removing a CPD entry will permanently delete the record. If the entry included a reflection or supporting documents, these will also be removed.

  1. From the My CPD page, click More Actions.

  2. Locate the relevant CPD entry, then click the Trash icon next to the entry.

  3. Read the information in the pop-up box. If required, select Also permanently delete the items

  4. Click Remove.

Submit completed CPD

The Submit CPD option is only available for customers whose CPD scheme supports it. On the My CPD page or Your enrolled programmes belt on the learner homepage, ensure the progress bar shows 100% completion. If required CPD hours are complete and all mandatory fields are filled, you’ll see the Submit CPD option.

📌Note: All reflections must be complete and CPD targets met before submission. The Submit button only appears once all requirements are met.

  1. From the learner homepage, click Your initials, then select My CPD.

  2. Click Submit CPD.

After submitting, a confirmation message will appear and the CPD record is marked as Submitted.
