The app launcher button was developed for customers outside of Access Evo to mirror the functionality of the Access button used by Access Evo sites.

⚠️ Important: The app launcher button is only available to Access LMS Evo outside of the Access Evo (previously Access Workspace) environment.

The button is prominently placed at the top of the screen and, when clicked, will open a menu of links. Administrators will have the ability to customise these links, enabling customers outside of Access Evo to switch between all their Access products seamlessly.

To do this, follow the relevant steps below.

Configure the App Launcher button

Administrators can set up the App Launcher button, customising the name, appearance and contained links, before then making it live for all users.

To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. From the admin homepage, click Engagement then click Homepage Designer.

  2. Click the App Launcher tab.

  3. Enter a name for the button (maximum 20 characters)

Add apps to the App Launcher button

At least one other app other than Access LMS Evo needs to be added to the app launcher button before it can be activated.

To do this follow the below steps.

  1. Click Add App.

  2. Enter a name for the app.

  3. Select a colour or choose a custom colour.

  4. Select an icon or upload an image.

  5. Add the URL of the app, then click Add.

  6. Click Confirm.

To add further apps to the App Launcher button, repeat the above steps.

To make changes to existing apps, click the pencil icon next to the relevant app.

To remove an app, click the trash icon next to the relevant app.

Make it live

After naming the button and adding apps, set the app launcher button live so it's visible to users.

To do this, toggle on Activate App Launcher for all, then click Save.
