Written by Liam Smith

You can create Gamebrain themes in Access LMS Evo to align the app's colours, logos, and branding with your organisation. This feature is available to super administrators on Access LMS² sites.

To create a Gamebrain theme, follow the steps below.

  1. From the admin dashboard, click Settings, then click Global Settings.

  2. Click Themes, then click Create New Theme.

  3. Enter a name for the theme, then select Gamebrain Theme from the type list.

  4. Click Create.

Edit theme

Once you have created your theme, you can edit it. After making your changes, click Save.

The table below details the sections you can edit.

Details

App Theme

Set the colour theme of the backgrounds, lighting and buttons. Select the desired colour from the dropdown list.

This colour is applied across the app, but the colour displayed when playing an actual quiz can be customised further in the details tab of individual Gamebrains.

Brand Colours

Set the Primary and Secondary colours used on the Avatar items.

  • Primary - the main colour used on the Avatar t-shirt and hat

  • Secondary - used for the cuffs and collars on the Avatar t-shirt

Click the dropdown to enter the HEX code or choose a colour with the colour picker.

Note: If you're choosing white, we recommend entering a HEX code that is not pure white, for example #eeeeee. This displays better against in-app lighting.

Logos

Upload images that will appear on the Gamebrain login page and the avatar's hats and t-shirts.

See the recommended sizes below:

  • Hat - 510w x 190h px

  • T-shirt - 180w x 180h px

  • Login - 1440w x 810h px

Note: The hat can use a wider image, but the t-shirt must be a square logo. The login screen for Gamebrain has a black background. Save your logo with a coloured overlay so that it stands out.
