⚠️ Important: The below guidance is applicable only to LMS² sites.

Administrators and Content creators can upload videos as a standalone activity, which can be used like other modules or can be published or used in courses.

To do this, follow the below steps.

  1. Using the menu, navigate to Content Manager by clicking on Manage, then select the Create tab.

  2. Click on the Video/Audio tile

  3. Select File, then click Next.

  4. Click Choose File, then browse for the video you would like to upload as an activity.

  5. You will be able to see a list of support file extensions. You can learn more about accepted video/audio formats using our guide: Access Learning: What types of audio and video files can I upload?

  6. Once found click Save.

📌 Note: Video module name defaults to New Video. This can be changed when customising the video.

Customising video module

Further customise the video activity, such as renaming the video module or apply additional customisation using the Details tab, whilst in the administration area.

Using the Details tab, you can apply customisation such as the folowing

  • Renaming the video activity.

  • Applying a description and objectives.

  • Applying an image to the activity.

  • Changing the video file being used.

  • Manually amending the size of the video preview window.

After applying any changes, click Save at the bottom of the screen.
