In acting as a service provider, the Access Group has taken all necessary steps to incorporate current best practices and ensure our content is accessible to as many users as possible.
Our business doesn't provide assessors and are unable to deliver the full Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate qualification. However, we work with our regular partners Care Business Associate Training and Impact Futures to ensure that our content maps to this qualification so that the learners can obtain the base understanding required of them.
The Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate qualification is based on the 16 standards that make up the Care Certificate. The difference is it goes further into knowledge checks and is expected to take six to eight months to complete.
Health and Social Care companies should check with their apprenticeship and qualification providers for more details, as in the future it could be grouped together with a different qualification. Whichever provider you work with, the eLearning content should be mapped to the requirements laid out by the awarding organisation.
