Actions Required on Navigator

How to check and complete your priority tasks using Actions Required in Evo Navigator.

Written by James Pardy

Actions Required brings together tasks and notifications that need your attention into one prioritised list. Items are ranked by urgency, based on deadlines and business impact, helping you focus on what matters most.

You can complete most actions directly from Navigator without opening another product screen. Once you complete an action, it automatically disappears from your list.

Check your Actions Required

  1. Open Navigator.

  2. Scroll down to the Actions Required section.

  3. Each item shows what needs doing and any relevant deadline or context.

šŸ¤“Tip: Review Actions Required regularly to stay on top of outstanding learning tasks, approvals and upcoming deadlines.

Complete an action

  1. Find the item you want to complete in the list.

  2. Click the item to open it.

  3. Complete the task in the panel that opens.

  4. Once completed, the item automatically disappears from your list.

šŸ“ŒNote: You can complete most actions without leaving Navigator, so there's no need to open another product screen.

How items appear in Actions Required

Actions Required is powered by Access Feed, which consolidates tasks and notifications from your connected Access products into a single actionable list.

When something needs your attention, such as a learning approval request, an overdue learning activity or an upcoming compliance training deadline, it appears in your feed and is displayed in Navigator.

This means important tasks reach you even when you're working elsewhere, helping you stay on top of your learning responsibilities.

How items are grouped

Related items are grouped together to keep your list manageable, rather than displaying every individual notification separately.

For example, multiple learning approval requests may appear as a single group, such as "5 learning requests awaiting approval", rather than five separate items.

Each group is given a plain-language title generated automatically by Navigator, so you can see at a glance what the group is about without needing to open it.

šŸ“ŒNote: If a Navigator-generated summary is unavailable, the group falls back to a default title of "Action Items", with a description showing how many items require your attention.

Archiving items

If an item has no available action, such as an informational notification, you can dismiss it using the Archive option.

If an entire group has no actions, select Archive All to clear the group from your list.
